Case study
Scope and results
We designed and implemented an integrated multimedia ecosystem powering the Fairy Tale Center’s flagship attractions, including an immersive 4D journey simulator in an authentic railway carriage and the Soria Moria narrative game, both driven by VisionCore servers. The project also covered screens and information kiosks, sound systems, scenic lighting and mobile apps with Bluetooth beacon micro-location.
At the European Fairy Tale Center in Pacanów, we deployed a complete multimedia infrastructure and a central exhibition management system. It brings mechanics, large-format projections, sensors, and digital and physical interaction together into a single operating environment.
Flagship attractions and VisionCore servers
- Soria Moria: a single VisionCore unit manages multiple screens, a touch interface, motion-tracking cameras and physical set elements.
- The Fairy Tale Train: VisionCore renders a panoramic image across 8 projectors and synchronizes it with DMX signals driving the hydraulic actuators of the motion platform. The image shown in the train windows, combined with sound and motion, creates a unique and unforgettable 4D journey.
Visual infrastructure and accessibility
- Large-format screens in corridors, lobbies and the Little Theater present educational content, announcements and animations.
- Digital totems and information kiosks with custom software let visitors check the event schedule, the site map and the knowledge base.
- Android and iOS apps, backed by a Bluetooth beacon network, help visitors find their way around the building and grounds and support people with disabilities.
Central control and automation
- The system synchronizes projections, audio and scenic lighting over the DMX protocol.
- Servers, the train’s hydraulics and the lighting start up automatically on a schedule or from the admin panel.
- Telemetry from servers, projectors and automation controllers enables fast, preventive maintenance.
Benefits for the institution
- A multisensory visitor experience built on image, sound and 4D motion.
- Safe, precise control of the attractions’ mechanics.
- Consistent, accessible wayfinding inside the building and across the park grounds.
- A simple dashboard for running complex AV and automation infrastructure.
