Scope and results

We implemented an automated Digital Signage and campus communication ecosystem integrated in real time with the USOS student information system. We delivered the project end to end on a turnkey basis — from concept, cabling and display selection, through system integrations, to accessibility features for people with disabilities and multi-year service support. We also equipped a large share of the lecture halls with systems for remote and hybrid teaching.

For Helena Chodkowska University of Technology and Economics, we delivered a visual information, dynamic wayfinding and university communication system across two Warsaw campuses. We replaced traditional notice boards with a self-running ecosystem linked to the university’s databases.

USOS integration and data automation

  • Dynamic class schedules: screens outside lecture rooms automatically display up-to-date information on classes, instructors, groups and timetable changes.
  • No manual updates: changes entered in USOS by the dean’s office appear on screens instantly.

CMS and secure permission management

  • Dedicated areas of responsibility: marketing, the dean’s office and administration each manage their own content.
  • Separated permissions: each team can edit only its own modules, reducing the risk of errors and unauthorized publication.
  • Bulk and targeted publishing: messages can be addressed to anything from a single screen to both campuses at once.

Smart Campus, accessibility and BMS

  • Accessibility features: interactive room panels offer audio description of the current class and the room’s purpose.
  • Public transport departures: screens near the exits show real-time departures of nearby lines.
  • Safety: integration with building automation allows content to be instantly replaced with priority messages, such as evacuation notices.

Infrastructure and support

We supplied interactive door-side displays, video walls and large-format screens for the entrance areas. The project covered circulation-route analysis, visualizations, complete cabling, installation, USOS and BMS integrations, training, and multi-year post-deployment support with telemetry monitoring.

Lecture halls ready for remote and hybrid teaching

We equipped a large share of the lecture halls with modern video conferencing kits: PTZ cameras and audio systems. They make it possible to run remote and hybrid classes and to invite guest lecturers from abroad who join the room online.

  • PTZ cameras: remotely controlled pan-tilt-zoom cameras show the lecturer and the room to remote participants.
  • Two-way audio: audio systems ensure remote participants hear the lecturer clearly and online guests are heard clearly in the room.
  • Guest lecturers from abroad: speakers from other countries can teach and give talks without traveling to the university.

Benefits for the university

  • Schedules and announcements updated automatically from USOS data.
  • A consistent information standard and a modern image for both campuses.
  • Central control, fast emergency notifications and support for people with disabilities.
  • Remote and hybrid classes, and lectures with guest speakers from abroad.
